Bramble Park Zoo has a lot of projects in the works to update habitats, with the next being their outdated bear exhibit. They will not only be increasing the footprint of the space, but will be making the area more complex for the bears, adding some various substrates like dirt and grass so they can dig and demonstrate natural behaviors if they choose. These carefully-curated exhibits help ensure the future of one of the state's longest standing attractions. “The zoo has been part of Watertown since 1912, so it’s both a visitor attraction and a piece of the community’s identity,” said Stangl.
