61st Annual Buffalo Roundup and Arts Festival
Custer State Park • Custer • Times Vary Watch cowboys and cowgirls as they roundup and drive the herd of approximately 1,300 buffalo on September 25. The Buffalo Roundup begins at 9:30 a.m. with parking lots opening at 6:15 a.m. (arrive early). On September 24-26 enjoy 150 vendors offering their fine arts and crafts for sale. Start the morning with a pancake feed and enjoy ongoing Western and Native American entertainment under the big top. The Sidewalk Arts Festival is a free outdoor event featuring more than 230 vendors showcasing fine art, folk art, and handcrafted goods from across the region. The festival also includes nonprofit organizations, food vendors, live entertainment, and activities for kids. This event is a fundraiser for the Washington Pavilion and is the region’s largest one-day arts festival.
