Our airline has donated a hundred boxes of used flight and ca- bin crew uniforms to the Women’s Centre in Užice. This centre employs women from vulnerable and under-employable cate- gories of society, as well as women who’ve survived domestic vi- olence. The Centre in Užice has its own recycling centre, whe- re the uniforms will be recycled and where they will create small artworks – various useful items of textile goods (bags, pads, aprons, decorations etc). The plan is to produce a recycled texti- le fibre at the centre that has šreviously needed to be imported.

That represent- ed the realisation of my boy- hood dream before I turned 24, and the thought crossing my mind was whether this was dream or reality. 2. What was the best advice you received when you started flying? - The best advice in aviation is usually given by the most experienced pilots. I re- ceived some good pieces of advice at the start of my career from my esteemed col- leagues, and one of the best ones was:“When you board the plane, leave all problems behind you and only pay attention to safely conducting the flight, with full respect for the procedures and rules of flight. 3. As a pilot, which things don’t you fly without? - Every pilot is obliged to carry their personal documentation on every flight. This implies carrying your pilot’s license, medical certificate, passport, identification card, and an iPad, which has been used in our airline for the last few years as a replace- ment for a large number of manuals that used to be carried as a compulsory part of airline documentation.
