Dino Rađa misli da naslednika ču- vene generacije sa takvom magi- jom nema, a prati i srpske i hrvatske asove u NBA ligi. - Vidim da je Nikola Jokić prilično iskočio u Denveru, dosta je napre- dovao i gradi odličnu karijeru. Broj- ke su mu fenomenalne i to je samo rezultat dobrog rada, ne može sve to da postigne, a da ne radi kao pas ili samo iz čistog talenta. Dario Ša- rić nakon svakog treninga dodatno radi, kroz šta sam i ja prošao. Ima odličnu sezonu u Filadelfiji. Bogdan Bogdanović je igrao konstantno u Sakramentu, držao je dobar nivo za prvu sezonu. Bobi Marjanović nije uspeo da se probije na ozbiljan ni- vo, Miloš Teodosić je imao povrede, možda je i kasno otišao u NBA… jateljima u Beogradu, jer ne mogu sve da ih obiđem za dva-tri dana. Rađa sada igra najvažniju ulogu – ulogu oca. Ima tri sina: Duje je u Ameri- ci, na koledžu, Roko igra košarku u Ce- deviti, a Niko ima 10 godina. – Duje je u Americi, na koledžu. Igra košarku i studira. Roko je građen kao Rambo, širi je od mene, ima veću šaku od mene, a glavu kao ja i trči kao ja u najboljim danima. Uvek je prvi na treningu. Plakao je kad je zbog povre- de morao da propusti sezonu. Niko je još mali... Nekadašnji košarkaš ističe šta je najvažnije u roditeljskoj utakmici. – Poverenje. Najvažnije je da nema laganja. Što se sporta tiče, apsolutno ih puštam da rade šta hoće. Ali ako hoće da se bave košarkom, onda će se njo- me baviti kako treba ili neka se bave nečim drugim. Srce mu je ukrala lepa Viktorija, sa kojom je u braku od 2001. Nekadašnja mis Dalmacije i pevačica pažnju privla- či gde god da se pojavi. – Supruga mi je velika podrška. Ka- ko se kaže, žena drži tri stuba kuće, a muž jedan. Ona je definitivno onaj deo života koji me ispunjava. Ponosan sam na to što je privlačna. Ja sam taj ko- ji je podstiče da bude lepa i da se sre- đuje, da se predstavlja tako. Volim da se ona sređuje. Bivši košarkaš, osvajač medalja i trofeja, ima jasnu i tako jednostavnu poruku za kraj: – Najviše se u životu radujem po- rodici i prijateljima. Ljudi čine život.
I daren’t call all my friends in Belgrade, because I can’t visit them all in just two or three days. Dino now plays the most important role – the role of a father. He has three sons: Du- je is in America at college, Roko plays bas- ketball for Cedevita, and Niko is 10 years old. - Duje is in America at college. He plays basketball and studies. Roko is built like Ram- bo. He’s wider than me, has bigger hands than me, he has a head like me and runs like I did in my best days. He’s always the first to arrive at training. He cried when he had to miss a season due to injuries. Niko is still little... This former basketball player highlights the most important aspects of the parent- ing game. - Trust. The most important thing is that there is no lying. When it comes to sport, I leave it absolutely up to their will to do what they want. But if they want to play basket- ball, then they will play it properly, or they will play something else. His heart was stolen by the beautiful Vik- torija, to whom he had been married since 2001. This singer and former Miss Dalma- tia attracts attention wherever she appears. - My wife provides great support. As they say, the wife holds three pillars of the house, and the husband one. She is definitely the part of life that fulfils me. I’m proud of the fact that she’s appealing. I’m the one who encourages her to be beautiful and to make herself up, to present herself in that way. I like it when she dresses up. This basketball legend, winner of med- al and trophies, has such a clear and simple message for the end: - I’m made happiest in my life by family and friends. People comprise life. Dino Rađa believes that there is no suc- cessor to that famous magical gener- ation, and he also follows Serbian and Croatian aces playing in the NBA league. - I see that Nikola Jokić has set himself apart a lot at Denver; he’s made a lot of progress and is building an excellent ca- reer. His numbers are phenomenal, and that’s just a result of good work – he can- not achieve all that only from pure talent. Dario Šarić did additional work after every training session, which is something I al- so went through. He had a great season at Philadelphia. Bogdan Bogdanović played constantly at Sacramento, maintaining a good level. Bobi Marjanović didn’t man- age to breakthrough at a serious lev- el, while Miloš Teodosić had injuries, and maybe he also went to the NBA too late...

Last year, Rađa, Đorđević and other aces gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their success in Bormio and the winning of the FIBA Under-19 World Championship, under the leadership of Svetislav Pešić. - Those of us from that time were cra- zy, and if we hadn’t been we wouldn’t have made a career.
