RAST PRODAJE PUTEM INTERNETA BIG LEAP IN ONLINE SALES

AIR TRANSPORT COMPANY AEROPUT JSC WAS Yugosla- via’s first joint-stock company in the civil aviation sector, whi- ch was later transformed into Jugoslovenski Aerotransport, JAT, and then became Air Serbia. The first director of Aero- put, and also the person most responsible for founding the company despite numerous challenges, was Tadija Sonder- majer, an elite Serbian army pilot, pioneering aviator and ae- ronautical engineer. The airline’s first official flight was conducted on 15 th Fe- bruary 1928, between Belgrade and Zagreb, and at the pe- ak of Aeroput’s development its aircraft flew in all directions – north to Budapest, Brno and Prague, west to Venice and Mi- lan, south to Tirana and east to Bucharest and Sofia. The Ae- roput fleet included passenger aircraft that represented the highest category at the time. “The challenging period during which we are marking this major and special milestone additionally highlights the impor- tance of nurturing tradition. Only on the strong foundations of a long and rich history could we have built a strong company able to overcome obstacles and proudly take off after an un- planned landing. Inspired by our predecessor Aeroput, which was counted among the most reputable companies in Euro- pe since its founding, we will strive to retain and justify the ro- le of regional leader in the aviation industry even during these uncertain times,” stated Air Serbia CEO Duncan Naysmith. As a direct successor to Aeroput, Air Serbia represents the world’s eighth oldest airline that is still operating.

TOKOM JUNA ZABELEŽEN JE RAST ONLAJN PRODAJE AVIOKARATA NA 34 ODSTO od ukupnog broja prodatih karata, odnosno za devet procentnih poena u odnosu na isti period prošle godine. Procenjuje se da je usled pandemije koronavirusa i važnosti održavanja fizičke distance došlo do promene navika putnika, pa je tako umesto svakog petog, karte putem interneta kupio svaki treći putnik Er Srbije . – Trend rasta onlajn prodaje uopšte ne iznenađuje, ima- jući u vidu da je reč o modelu kupovine koji je dostupan 24 časa dnevno sedam dana u nedelji, i to potpuno beskontak- tno i bezbedno, što u vreme pandemije koronavirusa pred- stavlja značajnu prednost. Er Srbija ubrzano sprovodi ino- vaciju i digitalizaciju svog poslovanja u cilju unapređenja efikasnosti i kvaliteta usluge. Zadovoljstvo mi je što mogu da najavim da naše putnike već tokom ove nedelje očekuje jed- no lepo iznenađenje, upravo u oblasti digitalizacije – izjavio je Jirži Marek, direktor za komercijalu i strategiju Er Srbije . Registracijom ličnog profila na sajtu Er Srbije putnici mogu da uštede kupujući karte po sniženim cenama. Tokom prva dva meseca 2020. godine broj putnika koji je otvo- rio svoj lični profil na sajtu srpske nacionalne avio-kompani- je povećan je za čak 156 odsto u odnosu na isti period prošle godine. Osim većeg nivoa komfora i bezbednosti, kupovi- na avio-karata putem sajta Er Srbije putnicima pruža garan- ciju najniže cene, ali i mogućnost da putem imejla ili SMS-a budu direktno obavešteni ukoliko dođe do bilo kakve prome- ne u redu letenja.
