RAST ONLAJN PRODAJE ONLINE SALES GROWING

VIŠE OD POLOVINE KARATA KUPLJENO PUTEM DIREKTNIH KANALA PRODAJE MORE THAN HALF OF TICKETS PURCHASED VIA DIRECT SALES CHANNELS

FIFTYTHREE PER CENT OF ALL AIR Serbia tickets purc- hased during the first six months of 2021 were sold thro- ugh the airline’s direct sales channels, i.e., via the Air Ser- bia website, mobile application, Contact Centre and retail outlets, representing a significant increase compa- red to the same period of 2019, when that share amoun- ted to 32 per cent. Online sales channels contributed the most to this result, accounting for 44 per cent of total sa- les, marking a more than doubling of the same period of 2019, when they accounted for 21 per cent of total sales. The share of tickets purchased via Air Serbia’s onli- ne sales channels also experienced a significant increa- se at the monthly level, growing from a 40 per cent sha- re of online sales in January to a 50 per cent share in May and June. This growth in the popularity of online sa- les channels is a result of constant improvements to the Serbian national carrier’s website and mobile applicati- on, but also a result of the simplicity and safety of the sa- les model itself, which represents an ideal solution under the continuing conditions of the COVID-19 Pandemic. “In order to provide our passengers with the best po- ssible travel experience at all times, we have strived to constantly develop our platforms and adapt to changes in people’s habits caused by the pandemic. We have in- troduced changes to our website, updated our mobi- le application regularly and worked to improve the online reservation system, thus creating a comprehensive and functional solution for passengers. We continue to work on new projects,” said Srđan Prokić, Head of E-commer- ce at Air Serbia.

U PRVIH ŠEST MESECI 2021. GODINE 53 odsto od ukupnog broja prodatih avio-karata kupljeno je putem direktnih prodajnih kanala Er Srbije , odnosno putem veb-sajta, mobilne aplikacije, kontakt-centra i poslovni- ca Er Srbije , što predstavlja značajan rast u odnosu na isti period 2019. godine, kada je taj udeo iznosio 32 od- sto. Tom rezultatu najviše su doprineli onlajn kanali pro- daje, sa 44 odsto udela u ukupnoj prodaji, što ukazuje na to da se taj procenat udvostručio u odnosu na isti pe- riod 2019. godine, kada je dostigao 21 odsto. Udeo avio-karata kupljenih putem digitalnih pro- dajnih kanala Er Srbije beleži značajan rast na me- sečnom nivou, pa je tako sa 40 odsto ostvarene on- lajn prodaje u januaru taj udeo porastao na 50 odsto u maju i junu. Trendu rasta popularnosti prodaje putem onlajn kanala doprinela su konstantna unapređenja veb-sajta i mobilne aplikacije nacionalne avio-kompa- nije, uz jednostavnost i bezbednost samog modela ku- povine, koji predstavlja idealno rešenje u još aktuelnim okolnostima pandemije korona virusa. – Kako bismo putnicima u svakom trenutku pruži- li najbolje moguće korisničko iskustvo, trudili smo se da konstantno razvijamo naše platforme i prilagođava- mo se promenama koje je pandemija izazvala u navika- ma ljudi. Uvodili smo promene na veb-sajtu, redovno ažurirali mobilnu aplikaciju i radili na unapređenju siste- ma onlajn rezervacije, čime smo kreirali sveobuhvatno i funkcionalno rešenje za putnike. Nastavljamo da ra- dimo na novim projektima – izjavio je Srđan Prokić, viši menadžer za E-commerce u Er Srbiji .
