T he Security Department, one of the larg- est divisions at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Air- port, with approximately 600 employees, takes care to ensure that travellers and vis- itors to the airport feel safe and carefree from the moment they enter the airport until they leave, or their flight departs. - Security measures at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Air- port comply with all domestic and international reg- ulations and are subject to regular and extraordinary inspections of the aviation authorities, says Belgrade Airport Security Department Director Vladimir Mićić at the beginning of his story, before adding that an integrated security system is in place at Belgrade Airport that involves intensive communication and coordination with the state authorities responsible for implementing security measures. Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport continuously raises the level of its security, with numerous investments in equipment and training upgrading the efficiency of airport processes even more.
