Potpredsednik Vlade Nebojša Stefanović u nedavnoj poseti beogradskom aerodromu Vice president of the Government Nebojša Stefanović during his recent visit to the Belgrade Airport
4x4 firefighting vehicles, an explosive detection robot, a vehicle undercarriage screening camera, drone detection and interception system, as well as X-ray de- vices for screening handled luggage. For training purposes, the airport also pur- chased a helicopter simulator and res- ervoir under the pressure fire simulator – says Mićić. In the second half of 2017, door frame metal detectors were replaced by a contemporary solution – body scan- ners, further enhancing the comfort and safety of passengers. These body scan- ners ensure the privacy of travellers and pose no health risk, as they work on the principle of millimetre waves, discover- ing everything the traveller has in their
possession and has not declared. - At the beginning of last Decem- ber, renowned manufacturer Nuctech do- nated a state-of-the-art X-ray screening device to Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport for checked luggage screening, worth €1.2 million. By implementing new equipment, along with the existing se- curity equipment, Belgrade Airport ranks among the very top of the world’s air- ports, emphasises Mićić. Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport’s modernisation aims to improve pas- senger comfort prior to departure and following arrival, along with many oth- er mandatory procedures designed to elevate visitor comfort to the highest possible level.
