F airy-tale landscapes, beautiful cities, unreal creations of nature - all of these are caught in the shots presented here, which are genu- ine miniature works of art. The internet plat- form ‘Slike Srbije’, or ‘Pictures of Serbia’, ran a compe- tition looking for the 100 most beautiful pictures of Serbia, which, following two rounds of voting and the participation of an expert jury, resulted in a se- lection of stunning photographs for 2017. The “Best Picture of Serbia” award was given to Mina Jevremović’s photograph ‘Leposavić’. Slike Srbije is a pioneering project that was launched by a group of en- thusiasts and lovers of photography and the landscapes of Serbia. The plat- form promotes photographers, allows people to access thematically grouped images in one place, and provides any- one who needs photographs with a place to select images and make contacts. We will present these beautiful images to you in Elevate over the coming months, so watch out – you may also fall in love with Serbia.
