The highly quali- ed ski instructors of the Olympic Centre’s ski school can re- veal to students of all ages how interesting, easy and excit- ing it can be to become a skier or snowboarder. This February will see Jahorina justify its Olympic epi- thet, which it has proudly carried since the Winter Olympics of 1984, with the hosting the 2019 European Youth Winter Olym- pic Festival. The 2019 EYOF is the biggest sporting and cul- tural event for young European athletes aged 14 to 18. From 9 th to 16 th February 2019, the event’s host cities will have the opportunity to accommodate around 5,000 people and to present themselves as true hosts. A total of 46 countries have so far registered to com- pete in the EYOF 2019, with 1,086 competitors participating in eight sports:
