MATERHORN Materhorn, moćni švajcarski vrh, jedan je od najviših na Alpima. Na granici sa Italijom ovaj gorostas izdiže se na 4.478 metara, a njegova četiri strma lica leže u pravcu tačaka kompasa. U podnožju se nalazi šarmantno selo Zermat, mestašce sa čudesnim kućama, restoranima i hotelima svetske klase u kojem se možete voziti konjskom zapregom. Da bi se sačuvali kvalitet vazduha i miran ambijent, motorna vozila su zabranjena u selu, a skijaši se mogu spuštati na više od 300 kilometara staza.
THE MATTERHORN The mighty Swiss mountain of the Matterhorn is one of the tallest peaks in the Alps. Situated along the border with Italy, this giant rises to an elevation of 4,478 metres, and its four steep faces lie along the directions of the compass. At the base is locat- ed the charming village of Zermatt, a small settlement with wondrous houses, restau- rants and world-class hotels, where you can take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. In order to preserve the air quality and peaceful atmosphere, motorised vehicles are for- bidden in the village, while skiers can descend more than 300 kilometres of ski trails.
