JEZERO LUGANO Jezero Lugano leži na švajcarsko-italijanskoj granici, u Tičinu, jedinom zvanič- nom švajcarskom kantonu u kojem se govori italijanski i koji nudi primamljiv ukus Mediterana. Cit- rus fruits, gs and pomegranates ourish in the mild climate here - even when snowy peaks can be seen in the distance. In the cities around Lake Lugano and Lake Mag- giore to the west, you will unmistakably recognise Italy in the architecture, markets and passion for delicious food. Visitors can explore the area by touring the lake on one of the white steamships or by renting a rowing boat. For panoramic views, Monte San Salvatore oers the most spectacular views of the surrounding villages, the lake and snow-covered peaks. Lugano is also the nancial centre and largest and most im- portant city of Ticino, while in the canton’s capital of Bellinzona visitors can tour three magnicent castles that are included on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
