Two years after Kate’s wedding, she gave birth to a son, George Alexander Lou- is. The birth took place in the Lindo wing of the maternity ward at St. Mary’s Hospital. It was also in this hospital, built in 1845, that she gave birth to her daughter, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in 2015, and seven months ago also Prince Louis Arthur Charles. As we approach the maternity ward, we recall the first time the royal baby was presented in front of the entrance. A single door separates these two residential units, which were part of the same residence until 1950. This palace was also the home of Lady Di. It still preserves her secrets and memories to this day, and exhibitions in her honour are often held here. This luxurious building that has been an address of British royals since the 17 th century has served to additionally link Meghan and Kate, who are fighting a bitter battle for popularity. The Duchess of Cambridge is currently lead- ing in the fight.
