ETIHAD ERVEJZ UVODI NOVU KLAUD TEHNOLOGIJU
Nacionalna avio-kompanija Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata uspostavila je partnerstvo sa kompanijom Ferlodžiks u ci- lju poboljšanja svojih prodajnih i distributivnih kapacite- ta. Poslednja generacija klaud tehnologije omogućiće go- stima da let kreiraju shodno svojim potrebama i dodatno unaprediti celokupni doživljaj letenja. Ferlodžiks je jedna od vodećih kompanija u ovoj oblasti, a njena tehnologija će Etihadovim gostima pružiti širok izbor pogodnosti i do- dataka pri kupovini karte. ETIHAD INTRODUCES CLOUD-BASED TECHNOLOGY The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates has partnered with Farelogix Inc. to enhance its merchandising and distribu- tion capabilities. The latest generation cloud technology will allow guests to create flights according to their needs and im- prove their flight experience. Farelogix Inc. is among the reco- gnised leaders of the airline commerce industry, while its te- chnology will provide Etihad’s guests with a wide choice of possibilities and options when purchasing their tickets.

Kroz glavu mi je tada prolazilo da su mi se ostvarili dečački snovi. Zahvaljujući poslu koji radite, obišli ste skoro čitav svet. Koje mesto vas je najviše očaralo? – Zahvaljujući letenju, obišao sam mnogo lepih mesta, ali najjači i naj- lepši utisak na mene ostavio je Sankt Peterburg sa svojom divnom arhi- tekturom, istorijom, ljudima i neverovatnim belim noćima. Možete li da uporedite upravljanje avionom sa vožnjom automobila? Kakav je osećaj biti na zemlji i biti u vazduhu? – Razlika između aviona i automobila je pre svega u brzini trajanja putovanja, komforu koji avion pruža putnicima, a pre svega u bezbed- nosti, koja je na mnogo višem nivou po svim parametrima od bilo koje druge vrste transporta.
NOVA TARIFA ZA PUTNIKE BEZ ČEKIRANOG PRTLJAGA
Nacionalni avio-prevoznik Ujedinjenih Arapskih Emirata uveo je novu tarifu koja putnicima sa ručnim prtljagom omogu- ćava nižu cenu karte. Nova tarifa je u probnoj fazi od kraja prošle godine i dostupna je gostima na letovima između Abu Dabija i gradova u osam država na Bliskom istoku. Za to vre- me ostavila je pozitivan utisak na goste, koji su imali priliku da uz ručni prtljag težine do sedam kilograma avionsku kar- tu plate jeftinije. ETIHAD LAUNCHES NEW FARE FOR PASSENGERS TRAVELLING WITHOUT CHECKED BAGGAGE The national carrier of the UAE has launched a new tariff that provides more affordable fares to selected destinations for passengers travelling with hand luggage only. The new fare has been trialled since late last year and is offered to guests flying between Abu Dhabi and destinations across eight Mi- ddle Eastern countries. It received positive feedback during the trial period from guests who had the opportunity to pay lower fares with an allowance of up to 7kg of hand luggage.
Do you remember your first flight? The destination you flew to and what crossed your mind back then? - I remember it like it was yesterday. My first flight was to London. It’s a very nice feeling when you’re at an altitude of 11,000 metres and you’re also flying over al- most all of Europe and then you successfully land at one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. It crossed my mind then that I’d realised my childhood dreams. Thanks to the job you do, you’ve toured almost the whole world. Which destination fascinated you the most? - I’ve visited many beautiful places thanks to flying, but the strongest and most beautiful impression was left on me by St. Petersburg, with its beautiful architec- ture, history, people and incredible white nights. Could you compare handling a plane to driving a car? What is the feeling of being on the ground and being in the air? - The difference between planes and cars is primarily in the speed of the jour- ney’s duration, the comfort a plane provides to passengers, and above all the safe- ty of a plane, which is at a much higher level than any other form of transport ac- cording to all parameters.
