OBE ZLATNE MEDALJE OSVOJIO JE STRE- LAC DRAGAN RISTIĆ. On je najpre postao olim- pijski šampion u disciplini vazdušna puška 10 me- tara miks, klasa SH2, a drugo zlato osvojio je u disciplini vazdušna puška 50 metara, klasa SH2. – San svakog sportiste je da osvoji olimpijsku medalju. Od 2017. godine i Svetskog kupa u Osije- ku, Evropskog prvenstva, dva svetska prvenstva, nekoliko svetskih kupova – sa svih tih takmiče- nja došao sam sa zlatnom medaljom. Ovo je kru- na tog rada – rekao je Ristić. Pobedio je rezultatom 255,5 krugova, što je no- vi paraolimpijski rekord. – U finalu je sve išlo nekako brzo, nismo ima- li vremena da razmišljamo. Kada je prvih pet me- taka bilo izvanredno, osetio sam da mogu i da ću uspeti ne samo da osvojim medalju već i zlato. Bio sam spreman i za vazdušnu pušku i za malokalibar- sku. Kada sam stao na liniju, rekao sam – kad, ako ne sad? Bilo bi šteta da nisam uspeo da dođem do medalje posle svih treninga i domaćih takmičenja – dodao je Ristić.

He won with a result of 255.5 points, setting a new Paralympic record in the process. “In the final, everything somehow went fast; we didn't have time to think. When the first five bullets proved to be exceptional, I felt that I could and would succeed, not only to win a medal, but to win gold. I was ready for both the air rifle and the small calibre rifle. When I found myself on the firing line, I said to myself: ‘When, if not now?’ It would have been a pity if I hadn’t managed to reach a medal, after all the training and domestic competitions,” added Ristić.
