Treći po redu grend slem turnir, za mnoge najprestižniji, legendarni Vimbldon, počinje 2. jula. Turnir je prepoznatljiv po belim dresovima i jagodama, ali je možda najpoznatiji po predivnoj travnatoj podlozi. Da bi zeleni tepih bio tako fantastičan, svake godine se iznova poseje nešto više od devet tona semena trave, čija se visina za potrebe takmičenja održava na tačno osam milimetara. Tereni se kose svakoga dana, a radi postizanja željene brzine odskoka loptice zemljište se održava suvim, pa se tek blago zaliva. Procenjuje se da centralni teren Vimbldona sadrži 54 miliona vlati (prema formuli za gustinu setve). The third Grand Slam of the tennis season, and for many the most prestigious, the legendary Wimbledon tournament, starts on 2 nd July. Recognised for its white outfits and strawberries, this tournament is perhaps best known for its beautiful lawn surfaces. To ensure this green carpet is equally as fantastic each year, more than nine tonnes of grass seed is sown annually, with the lawns maintained at a height of precisely eight mm for the needs of the tournament. The courts are mowed every day, while achieving the desired velocity of bouncing balls requires that the soil be kept dry, and only lightly watered. It is estimated that Wimbledon’s Centre Court contains 54 million blades of grass (according to the formula for sowing density).

Mladen Savković je novinar i osnivač bloga Ključaonica , koji se bavi kulturom i putovanjima. Njegova ljubav prema putovanjima i reportažama odvela ga je na mnoga zanimljiva mesta, a radoznalost učinila da upozna veoma zanimljive ljude. U ovom broju razgovarao je sa kustosom njujorškog muzeja MoMA. Mladen Savković is a journalist and founder of the blog Ključaonica (Keyhole), which deals with culture and travel. His love of travel and feature writing has led him to many interesting places, while his curiosity has seen him meet some very interesting people. For this issue he spoke with the curator of New York’s famous MoMA.

Kako kaže, čari posla koji radi su u tome što rečima može da pokrene i promeni neke stvari u društvu, ali i da upozna velike ljudi i umetnike. U ovom broju imala je privilegiju da razgovara sa Bajagom. Biljana Stefanović is a journalist who has spent a full ten years travelling across Serbia uncovering stories about ordinary people with unusual destinies and lives. As she says, the charms of the job she does are in the fact that she has the possibility to use words to launch and shift some things in society, but also to meet great people and artists. For this issue she had the privilege of interviewing Bajaga.
