KO JE NAŠ STRANAC? Moje ime je Benoa Detal i ja sam projekt menadžer u Nordeusu . Preselio sam se u Beograd sa suprugom na- kon što smo se sreli dok sam radio na Sarajevo film fe - stivalu . Živeo sam tada u Berlinu, a ona u Amsterdamu. Oboje smo radili u filmskoj produkciji i želeli da započ- nemo sopstveni biznis. Mislili smo da je Beograd savr- šen za nas: industrija u povoju, blizu drugih evropskih tržišta, grad koji nudi sjajan kvalitet života. Šest godi- na kasnije nismo mogli biti srećniji zbog izbora koji smo napravili. Beograd je sada dom ne samo meni i supruzi već i našoj maloj devojčici. Ovo su naša omiljena mesta u srpskoj prestonici… WHO IS OUR FOREIGNER? My name’s Benoit Detalle and I’m a Project Manager at Nor- deus. I moved to Belgrade with my wife after we met whilst I was working at the Sarajevo Film Festival. I was living in Ber- lin at the time and she was living in Amsterdam. We both worked in film production and wanted to start our own bu- siness. We felt that Belgrade was perfect for us: a growing in- dustry, close to other European markets and offering great quality of life. Six years on and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. Belgrade is now home, not only to me and my wi- fe, but to our little girl. These are my favourite places in Bel- grade…
Kalemegdan: An incredible place that’s packed with history, sport and a beautiful park. The top part of the fortress probably has the best views in town. Kalemegdan: Neverovatno mesto prepuno istorije i prekrasnih parkova. Gornji deo tvrđave verovatno ima najbolje vidikovce s kojih se pruža pogled na grad..

Košutnjak: My second favourite view in town is from the old ski slope in Košutnjak forest. This is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate after a crisp autumn walk. Košutnjak: Moj drugi omiljeni pogled na grad je sa stare ski-staze u Košutnjaku. Ovo je savršeno mesto za uživanje u kafi ili vrućoj čokoladi nakon oštre jesenje šetnje.

Climbing spots: As a rock climber, there are a couple places in town that I love to go to and hang out with other local climbers. Belgrade has a tight-knit outdoors community that’s incredibly welcoming and family-orientated. Mesta za penjanje: Pošto volim da se penjem, za mene postoje dva mesta u gradu na koja volim da idem i družim se s drugim lokalnim planinarima. Beograd ima zapanjujucu zajednicu ljudi koji vole da provode vreme na otvorenom, a veoma su gostoljubivi i porodično orijentisani.

Brodić on the Sava: These guys have an awesome floating terrace on the Sava. Not only that, their pizza is amazing and so is the beer! A perfect place to hang out on a summer evening and watch life go by. Brodić na Savi : Ovi momci imaju odličnu plutajuću terasu na Savi. Ne samo to, njihova pica je neverovatna, a tu je i pivo! Idealno mesto za druženje u letnjim večerima i posmatranje kako život buja i teče pored vas. Drugstore: Belgrade might be famous for its raft venues, but, for me, one of its best nightclubs is Drugstore. Set in an old meat factory in the industrial part of town, a steady roster of awesome international artists guarantees a good night out. Drugstore : Beograd je možda poznat po svojim splavovima, ali za mene je jedan od najboljih nocnih klubova Drugstore . Postavljen u staru fabriku mesa u industrijskom delu grada, uz stalan spisak vrhunskih međunarodnih umetnika, ovo mesto garantuje dobru noc. Tara National Park: This one’s not in Belgrade, but I can’t compile this list without mentioning Tara National Park. A mountain range in western Serbia, it’s the perfect getaway for hikes in jaw-droppingly beautiful nature. Tara, nacionalni park: Znam da nije u Beogradu, ali ne mogu da kompletiram ovu listu bez pominjanja Nacionalnog parka Tara. Planinski deo u zapadnoj Srbiji, to je savršeno mesto za šetnje u prelepoj prirodi.
Radost Fina Kuhinja: I love traditional Serbian food: baked beans and ćevapi with sour cream are heavenly tastes. However, if I want to experience interesting vegetarian dishes, I head over to Radost Fina Kuhinja. They now have a great little garden too. Radost fina kuhinja : Volim tradicionalnu srpsku hranu: prebranac i cevapi s kajmakom rajski su ukusi. Međutim, ako želim da okusim zanimljiva vegetarijanska jela, idem u Radost fina kuhinja . Sada imaju i divnu malu baštu.

Running by the rivers: This never gets old. At some points the Danube is so wide that it feels more like you’re by the sea than a river. Running there always feels so free and I love to see the colours of the water change with the seasons. Trčanje pored reka: To mi nikada ne dosadi! Na nekim tačkama, Dunav je toliko širok, da imate osećaj kao da ste na moru, a ne na reci. Trčanje pored vode uvek me oslobađa, a volim i da gledam kako se boja Save i Dunava menja sa godišnjim dobima.
