NOVI PLATO NA SLAVIJI. Re- konstrukcija Trga Slavija nedavno je završena, a osim toga, završeni su i Bulevar oslobođenja i Ruzveltova ulica. U sklopu rekonstrukcije Trga završava se i nov plato, gde će biti mnogo zelenila, klupica, kao i be- splatan internet i zvučnici kako bi se čula muzika s fontane. To će biti prvi put da Beograđani imaju prili- ku da uživaju na ovom trgu, a ne sa- mo da pretrče preko njega, kako je to do sada bio slučaj.

pedestrian walkways. We asked Belgrade Mayor Siniša Mali to present Belgrade to us from his perspective, as well as his fa- vourite places for relaxing. A native Bel- grader who, as he says, still loves some of the places he loved as a child, Mali is nevertheless trying to build an even more beautiful Belgrade. SAVA PROMENADE : This is definite- ly my favourite place to enjoy myself with my family and, as far as I can tell, it is al- so a place for numerous Belgraders and guests of the city to find respite. This place is always full of life, whether there are cy- clists riding along the promenade, children walking their pets, or our elderly fellow cit- izens enjoying views of the river... We creat- ed one of the most beautiful promenades in Europe, which will only achieve its full beauty once it stretches all the way to the Belgrade Fair. ADA CIGANLIJA: You can see beau- tiful scenes on Ada every weekend. Some- times I run around the lake, while some- times I go with my kids, who ride bicycles and rollerblades. Ada represents our enor- mous potential and can be a source of pride for everyone. For me, it is at its most beau- tiful in autumn, due to the autumnal col- ours on show. NEW SLAVIJA PLATEAU: The recon- struction of Slavija Square was complet- ed recently, along with Liberation Boule- vard (Bulevar oslobođenja) and Roosevelt’s Street (Ruzveltova Ulica). Under the aus- pices of the reconstruction of the square, a new plateau is being completed that will include plenty of greenery, benches, free internet and speakers to broadcast mu- sic from the fountain. This will be the first time Belgraders have the opportunity to enjoy this square, and not merely rush by, as was previously the case. KOŠUTNJAK: I often enjoy running and walking here, and we also recently com- pleted a running track with various ancil- lary elements in terms of outdoor fitness equipment. There are always lots of peo- ple, fresh air and good energy here. I rec- ommend that everyone visit Košutnjak at least once a week – they will immediate- ly feel better. KALEMEGDAN: This famous part of Belgrade, has surely been toured by every tourist who has ever visited our city... There are no words that are able to describe its beauty and value, and we are trying to somehow contribute even more to it. That is why we completely reconstructed the plateau at the Victor Monument and reno- vated Mehmed Paša Sokolović’s Fountain. Moreover, the reconstruction of the Small Staircase will also begin soon. It is our duty to preserve the treasures we have.

Belgrade is certainly all of that, but there is also an- other, more peaceful side, which shows a different face of the city. Belgrade is also a place for resting, high-quality walking and enjoyment. To this end, in recent years the lead- ers of the City of Belgrade have opened new parks and installed bicycle lanes and
KOŠUTNJAK. Ovde takođe če- sto volim da trčim i šetam, a nedav- no smo završili i stazu za trčanje s raznim pratećim elementima u smi- slu sprava na otvorenom. Ovde je uvek mnogo ljudi, vazduh je svež i energija je dobra. Preporučujem svima da bar jednom nedeljno do- đu u Košutnjak, odmah će se ose- ćati bolje. KALEMEGDAN. Čuveni deo Be- ograda, u koji je sigurno kročio sva- ki turista koji je ikada posetio naš grad. Nema reči koje mogu opisati njegovu lepotu i vrednost, a mi se trudimo da nekako još više dopri- nesemo. Zato smo potpuno sredili plato kod Pobednika, a rekonstruisa- na je česma Mehmed-paše Sokolovi- ća. Uskoro će početi i rekonstrukcija Malog stepeništa. Naša je dužnost da čuvamo ono vredno što imamo.
