U SLEDEĆEM BROJU IN THE NEXT ISSUE
VODIMO VAS U ŠVAJCARSKU WE’RE TAKING YOU TO SWITZERLAND
If we tell you that we’re going to visit Heidi, smell edelweiss and fill our- selves with cheese and chocolate, until our watch tells us precisely when it’s time to head for the ski slopes, can you guess where we have headed? Perhaps if we add that you will also meet the jet set there in St. Moritz or Montreux, or the cream of world diplomacy? Still not guessed? Let’s also tell you that four languages are spoken in that country and it’s the home- land of Federer and Einstein? Naturally, it’s as clear as day that we are flying to Switzerland, or more precise- ly to Zurich, for this cold, January issue, and from there wherever the road takes you in this fairy-tale country. If you are a lover of wilderness, icy alpine peaks or pearly lakes, there is almost no prettier place in Europe, but don’t worry if you’re not among those who enjoy spending January on skis and sledges. Here you can enjoy culture and museums, but per- haps you can most enjoy the sweet taste of the chocolate for which this country is renowned and adored. The Swiss are the world’s number one chocolate pro- ducers, and every Swiss citizen eats about 11.6kg of this delicacy annually. Is there any better reason to become Swiss, at least for a few days?
