In my search for beauty, nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. It is a constant reminder to me that in everything I do both personally and with my business there must be a greater purpose. This is what I would call the spiritual aspect of my business ethics and it permeates every segment of Lorca Design Company’s operations, an intention that goes far beyond profit. It took me a long time to reconcile the business and spiritual elements inside me.
I had always thought that one excluded the other. This, however, is an absolutely outmoded idea.”“When creating collections I do not follow trends, but I am guided by feelings and intuition, striving to create space custom-made to the user in conjunction with traditional handcrafts and the laws of nature. Lorca Design House and Elena provide an Earth conscious lifestyle in a friendly environment created with love, where they want to share with everyone the possibility to try innovative dishes and learn about healthy lifestyle with holistic approach all under one roof. Here one can find as well Elena’s non profit organization “ Tree of Life” which has been established in order to raise awareness about the importance of nature preservation, healthy nutrition and education in the field of personal development for all the people who want to learn more about their holistic being. Magic of Miladija While working on my Miladija collection I was inspired by the energetically powerful, wondrously beautiful Serbian kilims from Pirot. Investigating my Peruvian origins, I discovered the symbolical meaning of traditional ethnic decorative patterns from textiles of the ancient Inca civilization.
