Should you prefer to check-in at the airport counters, it is necessary to carefully plan your time and arrive early enough before the ight (at least 90 minutes prior to sched- uled departure time is advised for ights in the Euro-Med- iterranean area, and 120 minutes for long-haul ights) to ensure there is enough time for everyone in your party to complete the necessary procedures. Once all procedures have been completed, you should proceed to the allocated boarding gate. Please bear in mind that the boarding process is time-limited. More in- formation on the opening and closing times of boarding gates is available via your selected airline. Nevertheless, a simple check-in process increases your comfort during travel and shortens queuing times, leaving you more time in the lounge area to shop, relax, or simply chat with your fellow travellers.
