Sve, sve, ali niko kao Katrin Denev. Jedna, jedina i neponovljiva.
All and everyone, but no one like Catherine Deneuve. The one and only and inimitable. We were awaiting her arrival. There was a big crowd. I saw a lim- ousine as it approached the Grand Palau, extracted myself from the crowd and ran towards the car. I saw through the window that Catherine Deneuve was inside. She held a cigarette in her hand. It wasn’t unusual back then to take photographs of a world star in such a situation. When I told them what kind of picture I had, my colleagues from foreign media companies oered me a lot of money to sell them the photo. I didn’t want to. Catherine Deneuve appeared in front of the cameras, around her jostled a mass of thrilled and curious onlookers. Even if Cannes lasts for another thousand years, there will never again be the kind of euphoria as when Catherine Deneuve appeared. Many stars have passed through Cannes, but nobody like Catherine Deneuve
Lažni Bogart He once wondered well when he no- ticed in La Croisette a man who bore an uncanny resemblance to Humphrey Bo- gart, who had died back in 1957. Ac- companied by two beautiful ladies, with a coat draped over his arm, with every gesture he resembled the famous Hum- phrey. It wasn’t Bogart, but it was Bog- arde, who was named Dirk – an English actor who resembled the much more fa- mous Humphrey incredibly. Fake Bogart
