TRI PITANJA ZA ALEKSANDRA DIMKIĆA, KAPETANA Kad ste zavoleli pilotski poziv? – Ljubav se razvijala od detinjstva, a osoba najza- služnija za to je moj deda, koji mi je neumorno pričao o dalekim destinacijama, različitim kulturama i jezici- ma. Prepričavao mi je svoje dogodovštine dok je puto- vao po svetu avionom i preneo mi je ljubav za nešto što je tako plemenito kao što je avijacija. Koji let će vam zauvek ostati u sećanju? – Definitivno kad sam prvi put sletao u Beograd. Ima nešto magično kad prilazite Beogradu, a ispod vas ostaje Avala, gledate na bulevare, zeleni Košutnjak, sta- dione, Hram Svetog Save, a u daljini se vide Kalemeg- dan i Veliko ratno ostrvo. Onda preletite Adu Ciganliju i Savu, dok vam noću lepo osvetljeni mostovi i Novi Be- ograd ostaju sa desne strane. I dan-danas mi je to naj- draži let jer znam da se vraćam voljenima i najdražem mestu na svetu. Bez kojih stvari ne krećete na put? – Osim standardnih stvari i kompjutera, na put ne idem bez dodatka za roming jer to umnogome olak- šava komunikaciju i život na putu. Pakujem se brzo jer uvek pripremim listu, bar u glavi, kako ne bih ništa zabo- ravio. Uvek ponesem i nešto od kuće što čini da se ose- ćam bliže domu.

When did you fall in love with the pilot’s calling? - That love has evolved since childhood, and the person worthy of the most credit for that is my grandfather, who spoke to me endlessly about distant destinations, different cultures and languages. He told me about his adventures as he travelled the world by plane and conveyed to me his love for something that’s as noble as aviation. Which flight will you always remember? - That is definitely the flight when I first landed in Belgrade. There is something magical when you approach Belgrade, and below you is Mount Avala, while you view the boulevards, the greenery of Košutnjak, the stadiums, Saint Sava Temple, and Ka- lemegdan and Great War Island in the distance. Then you fly over Ada Ciganlija and the River Sava, while at night the beautifully illu- minated bridges and New Belgrade remain on your right. Even to this day that’s my favourite flight, because I know that I’m retur- ning to my loved ones and the dearest place in the world to me. What things don’t you embark on a journey without? - Apart from standard things and a computer, I don’t embark on a journey without a roaming add-on, because that greatly ea- ses communication and life on the road. I pack quickly because I always prepare a list, at least in my head, to ensure I don’t forget anything. I also always bring something from home that makes me feel closer to home.
