JAGOŠ MARKOVIĆ REDITELJ / DIRECTOR May its spirit prevail over every evil, as has been the case to date MY FAVOURITE PART OF BELGRADE IS EVERY PART where there is a theatre, always and forever. Those other places are secret spots and they belong to my private life. I live, work, rejoice and moan, get annoyed and confess, depending on what period of life, with or with- out a glass, in a tavern. And those places are Madera and the Writers' Club, and that is always and forever. I don't know how to tell you what my favourite places are, because I like everything that I eat with those I love the most. Chateaubriand or hot bread with cheese, smoothie or burek, it’s all the same to me! For my truly beloved Belgrade, which gave me all the beautiful things that life can give, no less or more than that, I wish its spirit to gain victory over every evil, as has been the case to date. It’s a submerged river! Just when you think it’s gone, it emerges beau- tiful and pristine. I know that what I wish for is tan- tamount to a miracle, but I believe in miracles. That’s what Belgrade is!
OMILJENI DEO BEOGRADA MI JE SVAKI GDE JE pozorište, oduvek i zauvek. Ona, ostala mesta, taj- na su mesta i pripadaju mojoj privatnosti. Živim, radim, veselim se i tugujem, nerviram se i ispovedam, kako već u kom periodu života sa ča- šom ili bez nje, u kafani. A mesta su Madera i Klub književnika, i to je oduvek i zauvek. Ne znam da vam kažem omiljena mesta jer mi je omiljeno sve što pojedem s onima koje najviše vo- lim. Šatobrijan ili vruć hleb sa sirom, smuti ili burek, svejedno mi je! Mom stvarno voljenom Beogradu, koji mi je dao sve lepo što život može da da, ni manje ni više od toga, želim pobedu duha nad svakim zlom, kao i do sada što je bilo. Reka ponornica je to! Taman misliš da ga nema, a on izađe lep i neostećen. Znam da je ovo ravno čudu što želim, ali ja verujem u čuda. Be- ograd je to! Neka pobedi duh nad svakim zlom, kao i do sada što je bilo
