MARKO NASTIĆ RETROSPECTACLE
Marko Nastić, najpoznatiji srpski di-džej, proslaviće 20 godi- na na sceni velikom žurkom nazvanom Retrospektakl , koja će se održati 19. maja u centralnom magacinu Luke Beograd. Na- stićeva karijera tesno je povezana sa razvojem elektronske muzičke scene u Srbiji, pa ne čudi što je Retrospektakl u na- javi dobio značaj jednog od najzanimljivijih konceptualnih do- gađaja u 2018. Ideja je da slavljenik tokom večeri u back2back setovima ugo- sti više od 30 kolega di-džejeva s kojima je sarađivao tokom dosadašnje karijere i podseti na najveće hitove elektronske muzike koji su obeležili scenu u poslednje dve decenije. Re - trospektakl počinje u 2017. godini, a završava se u 1997. godini kada je Marko započeo karijeru, pri čemu će se na svakih 20 minuta smenjivati po jedna godina i u njoj četiri najveća klup-
ska hita koji su je obeležili. – Kada radim duge setove, uglavnom volim da pustim prvo dugu ambijentalnu pesmu, da me malo relaksira i da na što lakši način finalno prođem kroz ploče i USB-ove. Za ovaj ivent sam planirao da počnem sa Waage-W1 , ona me podseća na rane radove Mauritzia (Basic Chanel), iako je ploča iz 2017. Namerno je iz 2017. jer je ideja ovog projekta da idemo u obr- nutom smeru, dakle – od sadašnjice ka prošlosti. Veliki broj lju- di koji će doći zapravo iščekuje stariju muziku, pa kako bismo upravo s muzikom moje mladosti i pesmama kojima sam se proslavio imali peak time, odlučili smo da na osnovu toga na- pravimo koncept – otkrio je Marko za magazin Elevejt . Centralni magacin Luke Beograd nalazi se u Žorža Klemensoa 39, a može da primi 7.000 ljudi.
Marko Nastić, Serbia’s most famous DJ, will celebrate 20 years on the scene with a big party under the title‘Re- trospectacle’, which will take place on 19 th May in the Central Warehouse of the Port of Belgrade. Nastić’s career is inextricably linked to the development of the electro- nic music scene in Serbia, which makes it no surprise that Retrospectacle has been announced, in terms of impor- tance and attractiveness, as one of the most interesting conceptual events of 2018. The idea for this evening is for the celebrated DJ to be joined in back2back sets by more than 30 fellow DJs wi- th whom he has collaborated during his career to date, with an emphasis on the biggest electronic music hits that have marked the scene over the last two decades. The Retrospectacle starts in 2017, with a return to 1997, when Marko started his career, with every 20-minute spot presenting one year and the four biggest club hits
that marked it. - When I’m doing long sets, I mainly prefer to play a long ambient tune first, to relax me a bit, then to finally pro- gress through records and USBs in the easiest possi- ble way. I’ve planned to start this event with Waage-W1, which reminds me of the early works of Maurizio (Basic Channel), although that record is from 2017. And it is de- liberately from 2017, because the idea of this project is to start in reverse, thus moving from the present towar- ds the past. A large number of the people who will come actually expect older music, so in order for the music of my youth and the songs I’m celebrated for to appear at the peak time, we decided to base the concept on that, reveals Marko for Elevate. The central warehouse of the Port of Belgrade, located at 39 Žorža Klemensoa Street, has the capacity to accom- modate 7,000 revellers.
