Af- ter every second step, one gets the im- pression that the bridge is swinging and that the ground under one’s feet will dis- appear at any moment. Although this is the consequence of an illusion, caused
by the rotation of the patterned cylinder, when one re-enters the tunnel, one’s rea- soning and sense of sight are again un- able to reconcile the experience. That’s why visitors always hold the bridge’s bar- rier firmly and fall back into the illusion,” explains Danijela. This museum also has a hall of mirrors that’s ideal for taking selfies, a chair that changes the perception of size, render- ing a person extremely small compared to other people. Everyone also individually remembers their “meal” with five copies of themselves at the cloning table. There is also the chance to return to childhood with a kaleidoscope that has playful pat- terns composed of visitors, instead of col- ourful scraps of paper and beads. - The museum also has an educational role. Alongside the wealth of exhibits and fun and attractive illusions, visitors are al- so offered the chance to learn something about vision, perception, the human brain and the scientific explanations that lie be- hind these illusions, in order for them to understand why the eyes see things that the brain doesn’t understand. The museum welcomes cameras, pets, squeals, screams, singing and talking, in order for visitors to feel the complete atmosphere of illusion- istic abundance – says Danijela. Belgrade’s Museum of Illusions is the sixth museum with such a concept to open worldwide, so don’t miss the chance to visit it and have a crazy time!

Uz bogatstvo eksponata i za- bavne i atraktivne varke, posetio- cima se nudi i da nauče ponešto o vidu, percepciji, ljudskom moz- gu i naučnim objašnjenjima koja se nalaze iza iluzija da bi razume- li zašto oči vide stvari koje mozak ne razume. U Muzeju su dobrodoš- li foto-aparati, kućni ljubimci, cika, vriska, pevanje, pričanje, da bi se osetila kompletna atmosfera iluzi- onističkog izobilja – priča Danijela.
