D irektna Banka a.d. Kragujevac was founded with the acquisition of KBM Bank in early 2016, followed by the pur- chase of Findomestic BNP Paribas in 2017, thus creating a strong and stable financial institution, which continues marking pos- itive results and becomes a synonym for a flexible, constructive and reliable partner. Direktna Banka is a domestic, universal and modern bank that has recently further secured its strong market position by pur- chasing Piraeus Bank a.d. Beograd, which will lead to the increase of its sales net- work and number of employees by the end of the year. Earlier this year Direktna Banka bought Piraeus Bank, a purchase which will by the end of 2018 in- crease your sales network. What are the plans and visions of the Bank for the years to come? - With the client in focus, Direktna Banka is working diligently to expand its sales network and service portfolio. After the integration of Piraeus Bank, the number of our branches will be 50 per cent higher, while the assets value will reach €500 million. Our focus is on continuous improve- ment and development of our product offer and services for both retail and corporate clients, i.e. small and medi- um enterprises. Also, we remain com- mitted to agricultural loans as a signifi- cant part of our business agenda, since we recognise agriculture as an impor- tant development area of the Serbian economy. We have started this year very ambi- tiously and we expect further growth of our market share through the increase of deposit and credit portfolio, as well as a growing number of satisfied clients.
