Njihov recept za dugovečnost je zdrav život u planinskom mestu bez mnogo briga i stresa I took the opportunity to visit the town of Arnaia, renowned for its picturesque and colourful façades, as well as the fact that it is home to the most hundred-year-olds in Greece. Their recipe for longevity is a healthy life in a mountainous area without much worry or stress
I t didn’t take me long to decide how to utilise the remaining days of my annual leave. I considered that I wanted to trav- el to a place that is relatively close and easily accessible, that has good food and a good climate; that is attractive, warm and with clean seas, so that I can rest and enjoy myself, yet still suffi- ciently interesting and colourful for exploring and taking photos. Everything I mentioned quickly led to an association with Greece, so I decided to travel to Halkidiki. It is easily reached by plane, with Air Serbia flying seven times a week to Thessaloniki, and from there Halkidiki is very close. I associate Greece with blue - blue sky and turquoise sea. I love their culture, Mediterranean cuisine and the sound of the bou- zouki. The people are happy and open to communication and so- cialise. Through these photos, you will see part of the trip dur- ing which I toured the Kassandra Peninsula, the mountainous area around the towns of Leringovo (Aroania), Ouranoupoli (Athos), the island of Ammouliana and Thessaloniki.
