U Beogradu se poslednjih nedelja mnogo pričalo o koncertu Masima Savića na Kalemegdanu. Hrvat- ski muzičar je dugo omiljen u Sr- biji. Još kada je kao mršavi devet- naestogodišnjak pevao Sjaj u tami kao frontmen grupe Dorijan Grej . On je čovek sa dva imena – Ma- simo Moreno. Prvo mu je dala majka, drugo otac. Detinjstvo i čitavo odra- stanje imali su elemente holivudske drame. Živeo je u Italiji, pa u Austra- liji, dva puta je učio maternji jezik, obožavao da se tuče i da na ulici bu- de mangup. Veruje da ga je sve to oblikovalo u autentičnog muzičara. – Tokom leta imaću mnogo kon- cerata. I to sve na divnim lokacijama na kojima je uživanje raditi, i meni i momcima iz benda. Uz sve te obave- ze moram se posvetiti i studijskom radu jer mi je želja da zaokružim nov album do polovine septembra. Radni naslov mu je Sad i mislim da će ta- ko i ostati. Sve su pesme već odabra- ne, trenutno smo u fazi finalizacije. Novu ploču smo najavili singlovima 1.000 ljudi i Neka ti plove brodovi . Uvek govorite o tome da su kon- certi u Beogradu posebni. Zbog čega? – Publika je uvek prema meni pokazivala respekt i trudio sam se
P eople in Belgrade are talking a lot about Massimo Savić’s concert on Kalemegdan. Serbia loves this Cro- atian musician still. Ever since he sang Glow in the dark as the frontman of the group Dorian Gray. He is a man with two names - Masimo Moreno. The first was given to him by his mother, the other by his father. His child- hood and entire upbringing contained el- ements of a Hollywood drama. He lived in Italy, then Australia, learning his native lan- guage twice; he loved to fight and be thug on the streets. It is believed that all of this shaped him into an authentic musician. – During the summer I’ll have a lot of concerts. And all in beautiful locations where it’s a pleasure to work, for me and the guys in the band. Alongside all these obligations, I also have to devote myself to studio work, because my wish is to complete the new al- bum by mid-September. The working title is Now and I think it’ll remain like that. All the songs have already been chosen, and we’re currently in the finalisation phase. We announced the new album with the sin- gles 1,000 people and Let Your Boats Sail. You always say that concerts in Bel- grade are special. Why is that? - The audience has always shown re- spect for me and I’ve tried to return that to them in the same way. Somehow those concerts in Belgrade always turn out spe- cial and are always in high demand, and in

Često ste govorili o tome da ima- te tremu pred svaki koncert. Je l’ tako i dalje? – Tremu u klasičnom obliku ne osećam i ne mogu je osetiti zbog svesti o svom kvalitetu. Međutim, emotivan doživljaj i nelagoda koju osećam svaki puta pre nego što sta- nem pred ljude, to je nešto sasvim drugo. Radi se o tome da se uvek pi- tam, bez obzira na svesnost o tome šta sam sve napravio i dao, da li ja to zaslužujem. Šta najviše volite u našem glav- nom gradu? – Iako sam svojevremeno živeo u Beogradu, danas nemam vremena da opušteno proučavam grad jer obično dolazim poslom. Ali kada pogledam Zagreb i Beograd iz 80-ih, vidim da su ta dva grada slično živela. Razmišlja- lo se o saradnji, o proširenju vidika, pokušavalo se da upoznaš drugoga da bi još bolje spoznao sebe. Kao što je Mirko Ilić rekao – Zvečka, Kavkaz, Blato , a u Beogradu SKC, Akademi- ja i raznorazne žurke po Dedinju, to je bio naš internet. Nismo imali Fej-
