F rom this summer airberlin will significantly strengthen its network to the United States as the airline expands its flight fre- quencies by up to 50 per cent from 55 weekly to 78 weekly nonstop flights from Berlin and Düsseldorf. This improved network demon- strates the growing importance of hubs at Berlin-Tegel and Dussel- dorf. Orlando will be launched as a new destination on 6 th May 2017, de- parting five times per week from airberlin’s expanding Dusseldorf hub. O d ovog leta Erber- lin značajno će osnažiti svoju poveza- nost sa SAD-om. Čelni ljudi avio-kompanije najavili su da će sadaš- njih 55 letova nedeljno skočiti na brojku od 78 direktnih letova iz Ber- lina i Diseldorfa do SAD-a. Ovo poboljša- nje mreže dokazuje sve veći značaj čvorišta Berlin–Tegel i Disel- dorf.
Pored toga, Erber- lin od 6. maja uvodi no- vi let za Orlando. Biće to treća destinacija do Floride u raskošnom portfoliju ove avio-kompanije. Od početka maja obe kalifornijske destinacije, San Francisko i Los Anđeles, biće sprovođene sa rastućeg Ber- lin–Tegel čvorišta. I to prvo sa četiri i tri leta nedeljno, a onda i sa jedanaest nedeljnih letova za San Francisko i de- set letova za Los Anđeles iz Diseldorfa i Berlina zajedno. Veoma popularni letovi iz Berlina do Njujorka (JFK) biće pojačani za još tri linije do deset letova nedeljno. Ta- ko da će putnici Erberlina ovog leta moći da biraju izme- đu čak 24 nedeljne veze iz Nemačke do Njujorka.

Both Californian destinations, San Francisco and Los Angeles, will be connect- ed to the airline’s growing Berlin-Tegel hub from the beginning of May, with four and three weekly flights respectively, adding up to a total of eleven week- ly flights to San Francisco and a total of ten weekly flights to Los Angeles from Dusseldorf and Berlin combined. The very popular flights from Berlin to New York (JFK) will be increased by three additional frequencies up to ten flights per week. Together with the existing double daily service from Dusseldorf, travellers can choose from 24 weekly con- nections with airberlin to the Big Apple from Germany in summer 2017.
