Belgrade Photo Month In order to promote photography as a form of visual, artistic, emotional and documentary expression, this year April will once again carry the flatte- ring title of the month of photography in Belgrade, from 30th March to 30th April. With the popularisation of photography at all levels, from commercial to artistic, this festival enables Serbian photographers to present themse- lves and their work to both local and European audiences. This is supported by the friendly collaboration between Belgrade Photo Month and the Eu- ropean Month of Photography, which is held simultaneously in Paris, Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Athens, Luxembourg and Ljubljana. The festival’s organisers will lead visitors through all aspects of photograp- hy. Exhibitions addressing current social issues, interesting workshops, pa- nel debates, as well as opportunities to meet and exchange experiences with foreign photographers, complemented by Serbia’s tourism/cultural offering, represent the basic concept of Belgrade Photo Month.
