Volim Pariz u svemu, uvek. To je ozbiljan grad. Nisam tamo odrastao, ali jesam provodio mnogo vremena. U tom gradu sam prvi put slušao „Stonse“ uživo, mislim da je bila 1969. B io sam dete kad sam prvi put došao u Pariz. Impresionirala me je arhitektura, atmosfera koju do tada nisam video. A nisam ni posle. U mom slučaju doživ- ljaj ovog grada vezan je za mog deku kojeg nikad nisam video, za moju ba- ku Francuskinju Mari, koju sam mno- go voleo, s njom sam razgovarao is- ključivo na francuskom... I uopšte za moje rođake Francuze… Istina, oni ni- su iz Pariza, već iz Nansija, ali svi su na neki način bili povezani s Parizom. I was a kid when I first came to Paris. I was impressed by the architecture, the atmos- phere that I had not previously seen. And I didn’t see later. In my case, the expe- rience of this city is linked to my grandfa- ther, who I never saw, my grandmother, a Frenchwoman called Marie, who I really loved and with whom I spoke exclusively in French ... And generally my French rela- tives... It is true that they are not from Par- is, but rather from Nantes, but they are all connected to it in some way.
