Šta vas danas pla- ši, a šta razigrava?

H e is an eternal boy of Yugoslav rock‘n’roll, a poet, philosopher and a migratory bird. For dec- ades he has remained faithful to himself, and is constantly on a path of change. Darko Rundek lives in Paris, Zagreb and on the island of Brač, plays through- out Europe and ceaselessly celebrates the art that moves his body, opens his heart and awakens his mind. He doesn’t accept compromises for popularity, strives to live in harmony with nature and with his own nature, creating and imagining a better world, because “now is the time for that”. When you look back at the time that “Apocalipso” emerged 20 years on, do you think it was better or worse than today? What, then, was “apocalyp- tic” and what was “calyptic”? What scares you today, and what makes you playful? “Apokalipso”was created in two phas- es. The first was around 1990 in Zagreb, while we were trying to make another Haustor album, and the other was in Par- is in the first half of the ‘90s. The time of the first phase was the time of the col- lapse of socialism, and then of Yugoslavia.
