London Big Ben se neće čuti četiri godine
London Big Ben won’t be heard for four years Due to renovation works at the famous clock tower, London’s Big Ben will not be heard for the next four years. And thus recently, after 157 years of functioning almost continuously, the symbol of the British capital, located in the recently renamed Elizabeth Tower on one wing of the Palace of Westminster, fell silent. The 13.7-tonne bell has been silenced due to precautions over the safety of workers engaged in the project to repair the bells, clock and the tower itself. The clock started chiming in 1859 and the bell rang almost continuously since then, every 15 minutes. That’s why once again this year, from 11 th to 15 th October, it will bring together more than 7,000 exhibitors from around the world, while exhibitors from Serbia will also be present at the fair. The national guest of honour this year is France and more than 250,000 visitors are expected during the five days of the fair. The event will also include panel discussions to address the challenges facing publishers today.
Zbog radova na obnovi kule londonski zvonik Big Ben neće se čuti naredne četiri godine. Tako je nedavno, posle 157 godina gotovo neprekidnog rada, utihnuo simbol britanske prestonice, koji je smešten u Elizabetinoj kuli u jednom krilu Vestminsterske palate. Zvono teško 13,7 tona moraće da prestane da zvoni zbog bezbednosti radnika koji će biti angažovani na projektu popravke zvona, sata i kule. Inače, sat je počeo da radi 1859. godine i od tada je gotovo neprekidno zvonio svakih 15 minuta.

Frankfurt Najveća svetska smotra knjige Za izdavače i sve zaljubljenike u
pisanu reč frankfurtski Međunarodni sajam knjiga je događaj koji se ne propušta. Zato će i ove godine od 11. do 15. oktobra okupiti više od 7.000 izlagača iz celog sveta, a na sajmu će se predstaviti i izlagači iz Srbije. Počasni gost biće Francuska, a u pet dana sajma očekuje se više od 250.000 posetilaca. Tokom manifestacije biće organizovane
i tribine, na kojima će se govoriti o izazovima sa kojima se susreću izdavačke kuće danas.

Brussels House of European history
Brisel Kuća evropske istorije Belgijska prestonica nedavno je postala bogatija za još jedan muzej – Kuću evropske istorije , čij je cilj da prikaže istoriju Starog kontinenta. Na prostoru od 4.000 kvadratnih metara se među brojnim izloženim eksponatima nalaze mape iz srednjeg veka, razni zaboravljeni predmeti i fotografije, zastave sa protesta, kao i glasački listić sa britanskog referenduma o izlasku iz Evropske unije 2016. godine. Poseta ovom jedinstvenom muzeju zapravo je putovanje kroz istoriju Evrope, prvenstveno 20. veka.
The Belgian capital was recently enriched with the addition of another museum - the House of European History, the aim of which is to present the history of the Old Continent. On an area of 4,000 square metres, the many exhibits on display include medieval maps, various forgotten items and photographs, protest flags, as well as a ballot from the British referendum on exiting the European Union in 2016. A visit to this unique museum is actually a journey through the history of Europe, primarily of the 20 th century.
