Location: Belgrade is close and well connected to many other beautiful destinations. Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Italy, etc. are easily accessible by car. And you’re just a short flight away from most European capitals. I hope Air Serbia will introduce direct flights to Kiev soon. :) Položaja: Beograd je blizu i dobro je povezan sa mnogim lepim destinacijama, sa Mađarskom, Hrvatskom, Grčkom, Italijom... Do svih se lako stiže autom. I vrlo ste blizu mnogih evropskih metropola. Nadam se da će Er Srbija uskoro uvesti direktne letove do Kijeva. :) Food: Or should I say meat! Lots of juicy, tasty meat. Serbian cuisine is hardly vegetarian and both myself and my wife enjoy this quite a lot. But don’t worry, there are plenty of veggie options as well. :) Hrane: Ili, bolje rečeno, mesa! Mnogo sočnog, ukusnog mesa! Srpska kuhinja nije vegetarijanska, a i meni i mojoj porodici se to prilično dopada. Ali ne brinite, ima i vegetarijanskih opcija.

Culture: It was quite easy for us to fit in culturally, as there are many similarities to Ukraine. We even understand a little bit of Serbian. And even if we didn’t, I don’t think that would be a problem, because many people in Serbia speak fluent English. Kulture: Bilo nam je lako da se kulturološki uklopimo, pošto je Srbija slična Ukrajini. Čak pomalo i razumemo jezik, a čak i da ne razumemo, mislim da to uopšte ne bi bio problem jer u Srbiji dosta ljudi tečno govori engleski. Parks: Belgrade is great for families. There’s a lot of beautiful parks and playgrounds around the city. Parkova: Beograd je dobar grad za porodice s decom. Pun je divnih parkova i igrališta.

WHO IS OUR FOREIGNER IN BELGRADE? My name is Vlad Belozerov. I’m originally from Kiev, Ukraine. I’ve been working in the gaming industry for the vast majority of my professional life, around 15 years now. Before moving to Belgrade, I lived in Kiev, Budapest and Minsk. The whole idea of moving to Belgrade came from a former colleague of mine who joined Nordeus about a year before me. The way he described the company soun- ded a bit too good to be true. However, I can see now that he was completely right. Both me and my family enjoy li- fe in Belgrade.
Bakeries: They are everywhere, and most of them are great. Pekara: Ima ih svuda i većina je fantastična.

Ada Ciganlija: We especially enjoy spending time at Ada Ciganlija, a beautiful little lake near the city centre surrounded by a large green area. Ade Ciganlije: Posebno uživamo u vremenu koje provodimo na Adi, prelepom jezeru blizu centra koje je okruženo zelenilom.
