THE HEART OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT M ilanović Industries Park – MIND Park at the very heart of Šumadija region, located 12km from Kragujevac on the way to Belgrade, is the investment development center with a great impact on development of the industry of the whole region. The founder and investor of the MIND Park, the company MIND Real Estate led by Bratislav Milanović, started making the creativity and innovation encourag- ing environment in April 2018 on the ar- ea of over 150ha. Its mission being to become a unique competence center in the area of rail vehicles and aerospace industry on the world scale, the industrial complex MIND Park aims at contributing greatly to the technological-economic develop- ment of Serbia. Proclaimed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia as the project of na- tional importance, the complex not on- ly provides the production capacities for creating innovative solutions in the rail- way industry, but also in other branches of high industrial development. By the arrival of the strategic partner Siemens Mobility to the MIND Park, the business dealing of this giant has been expanded in the area of production and nal assembly of trams and trains in Ser- bia. Through this strategic cooperation MIND Park continues its expansion by drawing investment-oriented compa- nies and focusing on innovation com- panies, new technologies development, as well as the raise in quality of sta by expert trainings.
WHO ARE THE EXISTING PART NERS IN THE MIND PARK
MIND Park will become the very heart of the development, bearing in mind that as the companies focused on the high-technol- ogy industry have already been placed in its industrial zone, in the newly built production space of 30.000,00 m2. This industrial com- plex has already welcomed the companies which are manufacturing components for railway vehicles, and the logistic center with the railway terminal will be opened during 2020 as planned. The business zone is being developped within the industrial zone on 20ha, with the aim of creating a dynamic environment nec- essary for nding new solutions for optimiz- ing the production process. In this part of the MIND Park there are the Institute for Mechan- ical-metalandchemicalmaterialandwelded parts testing, the Education center, and the start-up center and lab for research and de- velopment will also be opened. Apart from that, an airport, kindergarten, a canteen, a sports center, restaurant and similar facilities for daily activities such as a bank and post of- ce will also be opened. In order to enable easier access to the researchers who are not residents of Šumadi- ja, it is planned to build accommodation ca- pacities for better and more e cient work.
