JUGOSLOVENSKA KINOTEKA YUGOSLAV CINEMATHEQUE FILM ARCHIVES
Cult lms that are no longer screened anywhere else in the world, and which one might imagine never seeing on a big screen again, are preserved in the lm archives of the Cinematheque and are, from time to time, screened exclusively in any of its halls, within the scope of various thematic cycles and homages to major names of lm or festivals. For the complete experience, the hall of the Cinematheque Muse- um is recommended, which has retained the appearance of an authentic cinema of some bygone times, complete with a small ticket oce in front of the entrance and dusty velvet-covered seats. The Yugoslav Cinematheque, which is the national lm archive of the Republic of Serbia, was ocially established in 1949 and has since re- corded the history of lm both in our country and around the world.

FONTANA
Fontana (Fountain) Cinema was built in 1967. Following more than a decade of neglect and decline, this cult venue for the cinephiles of New Belgrade reopened in 2012. The space has been renovated, but mainstream movies still aren’t the rst choice for Fontana’s rep- ertoire. This cinema is primarily home to domestic and European lms, while it specialises in lms that the general public usually on- ly has the opportunity to see at festivals, as well as paying special attention to creations intended for children and youngsters.
