Telstone Treatment

S ubstance abuse IOPs are services for people who don’t meet the diagnostic standards for residential or inpatient treatment. It includes a broad spectrum of approaches and regimens and is more strict than a standard outpatient program but less intensive than an inpatient or a partial hospitalization program. An intensive outpatient treatment program is more time-intensive than most basic outpatient programs. IOPs for drug and alcohol addiction recovery usually take place more often than typical outpatient programs–usually 9 hours or more of treatment for 3 to 5 days per week. However, some provide more sessions per week or longer sessions each day. Still, other programs become less intensive over time. Since services are provided in outpatient settings they may be a longer treatment duration than that required for residential services.

Being allowed to remain in their own homes and communities during treatment improves patients’ adjustment to substance-free community life. Intensive outpatient programs usually meet on weekdays in the morning or evening. Programs usually include group therapy, although they might

include other services such as individual

therapy and employment assistance. Most programs include

and the typical program duration is 90 days. What Are The Service Goals of Telstone’s IOP? • Learn early-stage relapse management • Develop coping techniques • Address problems associated with social, psychological, and emotional well-being.
