He re- luctantly left his hometown, his friends, his dream of becoming a journalist or a lawyer like his mother and grandfather Jovan Đorđević, a former chan- cellor of the faculty, an academic and pres- ident of the Constitutional Court of Serbia. He went because that’s what his father’s ser- vice required. Đorđe initially enrolled at the film school in Paris, but then he discovered
his remarkable talent for arranging flowers. That moment changed his life, and at the age of 33 he became the main flower ar- ranger of Paris’s Ritz Hotel. - Apart from the fact that I worked a lot, I also had a lot of luck. I met the right people and was in the right place at the right time. Simply, some encounters in life can change the course of things. That’s what happened to me. First I met my wife Elizabeth, with whom I have two kids and who liberated
my positive energy and directed me towards the work I do today. There are also various professional encounters with people who believed that I am special in floral design. But what actually happened? The man- agement of this famous hotel, which is one of the symbols of Paris, sought a new design- er of their flower arrangements.
