KARLOVAC HARVEST
Karlovačka berba grožđa nastavlja tradiciju svečanosti kojom se obele- žavao početak berbe grožđa, a koja je obnovljena 1992. godine. Manife- stacija traje tri dana, a vreme održa- vanja zavisi od toga kada je grožđe dovoljno zrelo za berbu – ove godi- ne se dešava od 7. do 9. septembra. Program otvaraju defile berača i vi- tezova vina i vatromet, a u nastav- ku se na nekoliko lokacija dešavaju izložbe, koncerti, predstave za de- cu, nastupi folklornih ansambala, ali i nastupi di-džejeva. Tokom trajanja berbe podrazumeva se i velika pro- dajna izložba grožđa, vina, autentič- nih suvenira, a organizuju se i speci- jalne ture obilazaka vinarija. The Karlovac grape harvest con- tinues the traditional ceremoni- ous marking of the beginning of the grape harvest, which was restored in 1992. This event lasts for three days, while the dates during which it takes place depend on when the grapes are mature enough for harvesting - this year it will be held from 7 th to 9 th September. The programme opens with a parade of grape pickers and Knights of Wine and Fireworks, and continues at several locations with exhibitions, concerts, performanc- es for children, performances of folk- lore ensembles and DJ performanc- es. During the harvest period there are also large sales exhibitions of grapes, wines and authentic souve- nirs, while special tours of wineries are also organised.
BERBANSKI DANI NA PALIĆU HARVEST DAYS IN PALIĆ Berbanski dani su velika fešta kojom se slavi početak berbe ne samo grožđa već i svih plodova koji dospevaju početkom je- seni. I ove godine moći ćete da uživate u njima 8. i 9. septem- bra na Paliću. Centar dešavanja je Velika terasa, a, naravno, ak- cenat je na vinu. Organizuju se i berbanska parada, ceremonija konzula i vitezova vinskog reda, biraju se kraljica berbe i pu- dar godine, degustacije vina su na svakom ćošku, a tu su i ber- banski voz, vinski tunel... Prošle godine je u septembru prvi put održan i Vinski maraton, koji prolazi kroz slikovite predele jeze- ra Palić i okoline, kroz vinograde, pored vinarija, salaša i brojnih okrepnih stanica na kojima učesnici mogu da probaju vino.
The harvest days represent a great festival that celebrates the beginning of harvest time – not only for grapes, but all fruits that ripen in early autumn, and this year you’ll be able to enjoy them in Palić on 8 th and 9 th September. At the centre of events is the Palić Great Terrace, and the focus of the offer is of course on wine. Also organised are the harvest parade, the consul’s ceremony and the knights of the wine order, the queen of harvest and powder of the year are selected, wine tastings are held on every corner, and there is also a harvest train, wine tunnel etc. Last September also saw the staging of the first wine marathon, which passes through the pic- turesque areas of Lake Palić and its surroundings, through vineyards, alongside wineries, farmsteads and numerous rest spots where participants can taste wines.
