Zato će 28. septembar bez di- leme biti spektakularna noć u No- vom Bitefartcafeu . – I jedni i drugi imaju svojih draži. – O, sve ih volim, stvarno! Bli-
M ore than a band in the tra- ditional sense, Incognito is a constantly changing col- lective, a group of musi- cians that brings a wide range of styles and cultures. After more than 30 years of creativity, their music is a specific fu- sion of soul, jazz and funk. That’s why there’s no doubt that September 28 th will be a spectacular night at the new Bitefartcafé, when Incognito is opening the Musicology Barcaffè Sessions sea- son with its favourite hits that fill dance podiums. This is not their first time in Belgrade, and the band’s leader, Jean- Paul Maunick, tells Elevate, among oth- er things, that he remembers the Ser- bian capital and its lovers of his music with joy... First, let us tell you how happy we are that you are coming to Ser- bia again! Last time you also per- formed at Bitefartcafé, on the club’s opening night. Do you remember that evening and what your impres- sions were? - Yes, I tend to remember most con- certs. I remember people being very warm and welcoming, and knowing all the songs by heart. It was a beautiful connection and experience. Do you like bigger concerts or do you prefer smaller, more intimate ones? - Well, both have their charms. But for our type of music I would say that smaller ones are perfect. I love to see people, their reactions, and to see them dance. On the other hand, it is a rush to see a lot of people coming to hear your music. And when they get carried away with the songs they love, it creates a special energy. What is your favorite collaboration with other musicians? - Oh, I love all of them, really. I col- laborated closely with Mario Biondi. He has such a voice that is an inspiration
