Beogradski festival igre / Belgrade Dance Festival KOMAD VELIKI KROTITELJ Dimitris Papajoanu Njegovo delo gledaćemo na velikoj sceni Centra Sava nakon neverovatnog uspeha u Parizu, Amsterdamu, Madridu, Avi- njonu, Stokholmu, Edinburgu… Spektakularna živa slika Di- mitrisa Papajoanua je izvrsna hrana za čula. Veliki krotitelj je sat i po komičnih, lepih, senzualnih, erotičnih i magičnih slika koje ne prestaju da osvajaju… Savršen odgovor iz zemlje ko- ja je nosila tovar reputacije da je jednom izmislila naše poli- tičke vrednosti i naše pozorište. Dimitris Papajoanu je osnovao Teatar Edafos 1986. godine, trupu koja je postala pokretač njegovih jedinstvenih produk- cija i ostavila neizbrisiv trag na grčkoj umetničkoj sceni. Me- đu najširom javnošću Papajoanu je postao slavan kao kreator ceremonija otvaranja i zatvaranja Olimpijskih igara u Atini, 2004. godine. Njegova predstava Mrtva priroda prikazana je na našem 13. Beogradskom festivalu igre, dok je prošle go- dine za komad Nigde u izvođenju holandske trupe Introdans dobio festivalsku nagradu Jovan Ćirilov . DANCE SHOW THE GREAT TAMER Dimitris Papaioannou We will see his piece on the great stage of the Sava Centre, follow- ing its incredible success in Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, Avignon, Stockholm, Edinburgh and elsewhere. The spectacular live show presented by Dimitris Papaioannou is exquisite food for the sens- es. The Great Tamer provides an hour and a half of comedic, beau- tiful, sensual, erotic and magical pictures that don’t stop in con- quering the viewer... This is the perfect answer from the country reputed to have once invented our political values and our theatre. Papaioannou founded the Edafos Dance Theatre in 1986, forming a troupe that would become the driving force behind his unique productions and leave an indelible mark on the artistic scene in Greece. Papaioannou became famous among the general public far and wide when he created the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. His work“Still Life”was pre- sented at the 13 th Belgrade Dance Festival, while last year’s show, “Nowhere”, performed by Dutch troupe Introdans, won Papaioan- nou the festival’s Jovan Ćirilov Award. Naredni festival igre u Srbiju prvi put dovodi i čuvenu Vertigo kompaniju iz Izraela. Koreografkinja Noa Verthajm predstaviće se najnovijom postavkom Jedan, Jedan i Jedan . Biće to ujedno i međunarodna premijera ove postavke. Komad slavi energiju i još jednom potvrđuje jedinstvenost izraelske savremene igre. Kritičari predstavu opisuju kao „putovanje za sva čula“. ONE, ONE AND ONE Noa Wertheim The upcoming BDF is also bringing Israel’s famous Vertigo dance company to Serbia for the first time. Choreographer Noa Wertheim will present the latest show, entitled “One, One and One”, in what will also be the international premiere perfor- mance of this piece. Norveška trupa Zero Visibility donosi jedinstven komad, ali i temu koju nije lako odigrati ukoliko iza naslova ne stoji kore- ograf poput Ine Kristel Johansen. Na ostrvu Svalbard, jednom od najmirnijih mesta na planeti, izgrađeno je veliko skladište od 120 kvadratnih metara unutar planine. Usred večitog leda, duboko u delu tla koje se nikada ne topi, osnovano je Svet- sko skladište semena. Oko 840.000 uzoraka semena depo- novano je u tom trezoru. Seme je izvor života, a „skrovište sudnjeg dana“ predstavlja potrebu da se ono zaštiti. Zaleđe- ne pesme počivaju u dubini planine u blizini Severnog pola i mogle bi spasiti svet. DANCE SHOW FROZEN SONGS Ina Christel Johannessen Norwegian troupe Zero Visibility Corp brings a unique show to Belgrade, but also a topic that isn’t easy to “dance”, unless the performance is arranged by a choreographer like Ina Chris- tel Johannessen. On the island of Svalbard, one of the most peaceful places on the planet, a warehouse of 120 metres has been constructed within a mountain. In the middle of the per- mafrost, deep in layers of soil that never thaw, the Global Seed Vault has been established. Around 840,000 seed samples have to date been deposited in that vault. Seeds are the source of life, and this “Doomsday Vault” represents the need to pro- tect them. These “Frozen Songs”, preserved in the depths of a mountain near the North Pole, could one day save the world.
