GDE SE NALAZI: Nju Orleans je dragulj američke države Luizijane. Posle razornih posledica uragana Katrina 2005. godine ovaj grad se polako vraća onome što je nekada bio: jedna od najpopularnijih turističkih destinacija u SAD. O ČEMU SE RADI: Hotel The Drifter nalazi se na mestu nekadašnjeg motela i zadr- žao je tu auru ležernog glamura iz pedesetih godina. Vlasnici ističu da im je cilj vra- ćanje starog sjaja Nju Orleansu. Oni u modernom remiksu nude kombinaciju ukusa i uticaja inspirisanu melting pot reputacijom ovog američkog grada. Za enterijer je bio zadužen enterijerski studio Cota , njihovi dizajneri su dobili za- datak da luksuz modernog doba fino upakuju u vajb iz sredine 20. veka. Sobe su prostrane i u njima goste čekaju specijalizovani časopisi, na raspolaganju im je i bazen, kao i kafe restoran koji služi kafu s potpisom La Colombe. U hotelskom dvorištu česti gosti su food truck restorani. KOME JE NAMENJEN: Vizija The Drifter tima jeste da se u narednim godinama hotel nametne kao dizajnirano utočište za sve lokalce otvorenog uma, kao i za radoznale globtrotere.

WHERE IT’S LOCATED: New Orleans is the crown jewel of the U.S. state of Louisiana. Following the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, this city is slowly returning to what it once was: one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT : The Drifter Hotel is located on the site of a former motel and has retained the aura of casual glamour from the 1950s. The owners point out that their aim is to restore the former glory of New Orleans. In their modern remix, they offer a combina- tion of tastes and influence inspired by the melting pot reputation of this American city. The interiors were entrusted to interior design studio Cota, whose de- signers were tasked with packing the luxury of modern times into a vibe from the mid-20 th century. The rooms are spacious, and guests are awaited by a selection of niche magazines, while they can also take advantage of a pool and a café-restaurant serving coffee with the signature La Colombe. The hotel’s courtyard also frequently welcomes guest food trucks. FOR WHOM IT’S INTENDED : The vision of the team at The Drifter is for this hotel to develop in the coming years and emerge as a design haven for all open-minded locals and curious globetrotters.
