RITAM GRADA RHYTHM OF THE TOWN
Trg republike je već decenijama glavno mesto susreta Beograđana, pa tu svake večeri padne na hiljade poljubaca, ponekad dugih i samo- uverenih, ponekad površnih, prija- teljskih, s naznakom romanse, pr- vih i nesigurnih, zbunjujućih... To je istovremeno i jedna od najpromet- nijih tačaka u gradu, pa će retko ko i registrovati neke od najlepših i najnežnijih ljubavnih scena svakod- nevice. A dešavaju se baš tu, u go- mili ljudi, u samom centru grada. Republic Square has for decades been a major meeting point for Belgraders, and here every evening thousands of kiss- es are exchanged, sometimes long and confident kisses, sometimes superficial, friendly pecks, with an indication of ro- mance, initial and unsure, confusing... This is simultaneously one of the busiest spots in the city, so few will even regis- ter some of the most beautiful and ten- derest scenes of everyday love that un- fold here. And they happen right there, among crowds of people, at the very heart of the city.
POLJUBAC NA TRGU REPUBLIKE A KISS ON REPUBLIC SQUARE
Osim kao turistička atrakcija broj jedan, Kalemegdan će zauzeti visoku poziciju i na svakoj listi romantičnih mesta u Beogradu i preporuka za pr- vi sastanak. Međutim, nema svaki ku- tak Kališa tu energiju. Kao najroman- tičnija se nameće usamljena klupica pored šetališta s direktnim pogledom na Ušće, a i zalazak sunca ako uhvati- te momenat... Legenda kaže da je za- ljubljenima Dunav uvek plave boje, a iz ove perspektive tačno se vidi mesto gde se susreće sa Savom i nastavljaju zajedno da teku zauvek zagrljeni. Apart from being the city’s number one tourist attraction, Kalemegdan also occu- pies a high position on every list of Belgrade’s most romantic places and recommended spots for ‘first dates’. However, not every cor- ner of ‘Kalish’ possesses that kind of energy. Standing apart as the most romantic spot is the lone bench placed next to the prome- nade with a direct view of Ušće, and the sun- set if you catch the moment... Legend has it that the Danube always appears blue in the eyes of lovers, and from the perspective of this bench you can see precisely where it comes together with the River Sava, before the two continue on, entwined in their un- breakable embrace.
