And even today this kind of surviving hero of the new wave spreads his energy and wisdom to“youngsters of all ages”and performs for those who, as he says, “are not lost in the terrible television-couch-fridge triangle”. At a time when people are abandon- ing the album concept, you released two in a year. What made you decide to release ‘Svako dobro’ and ‘Akustič- na pusa’ in such a short period of time? - I do not make general-use music, rath- er music that is listened to in the old way. Both albums will have vinyl versions, last-
ing 50 minutes and with meaningfully ar- ranged music that is listened to as a work of art, from the first track to the tenth. They need devotion for some time, like when you read a book or watch a sporting contest. You’ve been coming to Belgrade since 1983. What’s changed since that time? - The most important things have re- mained the same: Belgrade is a big city, an urban environment filled with new ideas, standing and moving beauty, and my col- leagues, soulmates.
