RITAM SRBIJE / RHYTHM OF SERBIA

PRSKALO WATERFALL THAT NEVER RUNS DRY Prskalo Waterfall, situated in the southern part of Kučaj Mountains, was formed by the most imaginative dance of water and limestone. Despite not being rich in water, this waterfall never dries up. It is named after the droplets that spray (prskati) all around from a height of 15 metres. Navigating the route to the waterfall isn’t easy, but is worth it. When you finally arrive, you won’t be able to bring yourself to leave Prskalo – the greatest treasure of the Resava area - for a long time. The waterfall’s immediate surroundings are extremely calming and beautiful, immersed in lush greenery, far from any urban facilities.

Odmah iznad vodopada Prskalo, na nekih 70 metara, nalazi se izvor reke Nekudovo The source of the river Nekudovo is located immediately above Prskalo Waterfall, around 70 metres away

PILJ HEAVEN ON THE BALKAN MOUNTAIN The Balkan Mountain, known locally as the Old Mountain [Stara Planina], is actually home to the most waterfalls in the country. Approximately four kilometres to the south of the village of Topli Do, in an inaccessible forest below the peak of Pilj, a waterfall of the same name is located. Situated at an altitude of about 1,450 metres, it consists of two cascades – Upper and Lower Pilj. Part of the territory of the village of Topli do is also occupied by the waterfalls Čungulj (42 metres) and Kulturski (27 metres), so enjoyment is guaranteed in the clear waters that leap over the rocks and in pristine nature far from civilisation.

Visok 64 metra, četvrti je po visini vodopad u Srbiji At a height of 64 metres, this is the fourth highest waterfall in Serbia
