– Omiljena destinacija mi je svakako Njujork. Tamo posada pro- vodi od 24 do 72 sata, u zavisnosti od reda letenja. To nam daje dovolj- no vremena da se odmorimo, pripremimo za povratni let, kao i da uži- vamo u jednom od najlepših aspekata našeg posla, obilascima novih i interesantnih mesta. Njujork kao Novum caput mundi je svakako je- dan od najlepših i najzanimljivijih gradova sveta. Kojoj pisti je prilaz najteži, a kojoj najlepši? – Najzahtevniji prilazi su oni koji kombinuju kratku pistu sa tako- zvanim nepreciznim prilazom, nepovoljnim vremenom i visokim tere- nom, to jest planinama oko aerodroma. Primer takvog aerodroma na koji leti Er Srbija je Tivat. Ali kada je vidljivost dobra, takvi prilazi pru- žaju najlepši pogled i daju poseban osećaj profesionalnog zadovolj- stva svakom pilotu. Portal koji redovno prati 3,43 miliona ljudi u istoimenom tekstu izdvaja zna- menitosti srpske prestonice, šoping ili spa od- mor u Beogradu ili na Kopaoniku, uz preporuku najluksuznijih hotela. Posebno se preporučuju autentična srpska hrana kao što su gibanica i le- pinja sa kajmakom. Prestonica Srbije predstav- ljena je fotografijom Hrama Svetog Save, kao jednog od simbola Beograda. Thanks to Air Serbia’s direct line between Bel- grade and New York, Serbia and Belgrade have been featured on PureWow’s list of“5 unexpected places you can fly direct just because you live in NYC”. In mid-Feb- ruary this portal, which is visited by 3.43 million people monthly, wrote about the sights of the Serbian capital, recommending Belgrade and Kopaonik for shopping and spa breaks, as well as listing the most luxurious ho- tels to stay at. The portal especially recommended au- thentic Serbian food, such as gibanica and buns with kajmak. The capital of Serbia was featured along with a photo of the St. Sava Temple, as one of the most icon- ic symbols of Belgrade. T
svakog pilota su samokritičnost i disciplina, a svaki let je prilika za učenje novih stvari i potvrđivanje stečenog iskustva. Samokritičnost i analiza leta nam omogućavaju da učimo i nadograđujemo naša profesionalna iskustva, s tim što čovek u toj analizi i kritici uvek treba pođe od sebe, a ne da tra- ži izgovore na drugim mestima. Disciplina da se u tome istraje je takođe podjednako bitna.

- My favourite destination is cer- tainly NewYork.The crew spends from 24 to 72 hours there, depending on the flight schedule. That gives us sufficient time to rest and prepare for the return
flight, but also to enjoy one of the most beautiful parts of our job – touring new and interesting places. New York, as Novum caput mundi, is certainly one of the world’s most beautiful and interesting cities. Which runway has the toughest approach, and which is the most beautiful? - The most demanding approaches are those that combine a short runway with a so-called “imprecise approach”, unfavourable weather and high terrain, i.e. mountains around the airport. One example of such an airport that Air Serbia flies to is Tivat. However, when visibility is good, such approaches offer the most beau- tiful views and provide a special sense of professional satisfaction for every pilot. What characteristics does a good pilot possess? - The characteristics that are important for every pilot are self-criticism and dis- cipline, and every flight is an opportunity to learn new things and confirm acquired experience. Self-criticism and flight analysis enable us to learn and build upon our professional experiences, while in that analysis and critique a person should always start from themselves, as opposed to seeking excuses elsewhere. Discipline to en- dure in this is also equally important.
