F airy-tale landscapes, beautiful cities, unreal creations of nature - all of these are caught in the shots presented here, which are genu- ine miniature works of art. The internet plat- form ‘Slike Srbije’, or ‘Pictures of Serbia’, ran a compe- tition looking for the 100 most beautiful pictures of Serbia, which, following two rounds of voting and the participation of an expert jury, resulted in a selection of stunning photographs for 2017. The “Best Picture of Serbia” award was given to Mina Jevremović’s pho- tograph ‘Leposavić’. Slike Srbije is a pioneering project that was launched by a group of enthusiasts and lovers of photography and the landscapes of Serbia. The platform promotes photographers, allows people to access thematically grouped images in one place, and provides anyone who needs photographs with a place to select imag- es and make contacts. We will present these beautiful images to you in Elevate over the coming months, so watch out – you may also fall in love with Serbia.
