This singer also earned three nominations for her guest appear- ance in Megan Thee Stallion‘s hit Sav- age – for record of the year, best rap performance and best rap song. With these nine nominations, this winner of 24 Grammys now has a grand total of 79 nominations for this award, which places her on lev- el pegging with Sir Paul McCartney, who has been nominated the same number of times throughout his ca- reer. Still in first place for the num- ber of nominations are Quincy Jones and Jay-Z, who have 80 each. Beyon- cé‘s husband was nominated again this year for his contribution to her songs Black Parade and Savage. Ranking next in terms of nom- inations this year are Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa and Roddy Ricch with six each. Billie Eilish, who last year won Grammys in all important categories, has four new nominations for 2021, while there is also Korean boy band BTS, which has been nominated for this award for the first time, for the hit single Dynamite.
