Large Christ- mas markets, bazaars, fairs, toffee apples and cheerful faces fill squares and high streets, and the whole world resembles a huge, colourful Christmas tree! Of course, shopping is in full swing in the build up to Christmas and New Year, with discounts mostly luring shopaholics as genuine bait, providing yet another reason to head for Europe, and some of Air Serbia’s around forty des- tinations, this December. It is a given that the Serbian nation- al carrier can also fly you directly to the city known as the cen- tre of the world. New York is at its craziest and most vivacious in December, and spending New Year’s Eve on Times Square, with the giant ball descending at midnight, is an unforgettable event that everyone should experience at least once in their life- time.
